There are several factors that go into selecting veneer for an architectural project. You must determine the specie, cut type, color, figure, grain, and size to fit the project. Each of these are aesthetic considerations that can vary widely from log to log, even within the same species. This is because every log is unique and has natural characteristics that show how the tree grew and reveal themselves only when the log is sliced.

To help narrow your selection we’ve made our veneer inventory LIVE, updating every day to match exactly what we have available. Our veneer INDEX guides you through the attributes of each specie which can be searched in alphabetical order. Our team is here to assist you in selecting the right log for your project. Once you’ve selected your log, we’ll reserve it during the bidding process. To ensure you get the exact log you specified include the ifpveneer log number in your bidding documents.
